Events Matter Ltd has won the Southend District Business Awards 2008 in two categories – Environmental Awareness and (Environmental) Travel Planning.

Recognition of our achievements was presented by Rochford Council and Southend United Football Club, at a prestigious Ceremony held at the Cliffs Pavilion, Southend on November 7th 2008. Commending Events Matter, the Judges said ‘their enthusiasm for all things green is unbounded and infectious. Anyone meeting them will have a greater understanding of what it means to be environmentally aware and how such actions will help with profits too.’

Events Matter is committed to helping companies ease the effects of Climate Change by outlining the many solutions available e.g. the effective management of a business’s own impact through energy conservation, waste reduction and sustainable travel plans – all which have a positive impact on the bottom-line.

Earlier in the year, Events Matter was one of two Finalists in the Essex Business Awards 2008, Environmental Category, being shortlisted from a wide spectrum of companies throughout the county.
