Event Overview

Under the tutelage of a professional Chef, teams work together in a contemporary state of the art kitchen - discover the pleasure of cooking, learn some useful ‘green’ tips, techniques and culinary secrets. The event starts with a brief introduction to ethical shopping and cooking. Throughout the event you will learn the skills to produce quality dishes, understanding the techniques and creativity used to spice up your food and give it that special edge!

The proof of the pudding of course will be in the eating which all participants get to do at the end of Carbon Cook Print! You don’t need previous cooking experience! We will show you how its done and how you can to help put climate change on the back burner!

Event Description

Carbon Cook Print offers a range of event schedules - lunch, afternoon tea or dinner! Whichever your choice, whether you are a novice cook or more experienced, there is something suitable for you to cook up a treat! There is a choice of menus for each event which are  inclusive of a half bottle of wine per person.

AFTERNOON TEA

2.45-3.00 pm

Participants are welcomed to Carbon Cook Print.

Short briefing of event takes place.

3.00-5.00 pm

The Chef introduces the menu. Sweets and savouries are prepared with the friendly and helpful guidance of our Chef.

5.00 – 6.00 pm

Diets are shelved for the time being as our guest chefs enjoy the fruits (and pastries!) of their endeavours.

DINNER

6.00-6.45 pm

Participants are welcomed to Carbon Cook Print with a glass of white wine.

Short briefing of event takes place.

6.45-8.15 pm

The Chef introduces the menu. Aprons are ‘donned’ and the preparation of the meal commences. The entire courses are
prepared - starter, main and dessert.

8.15-9.45 pm

Dinner is served! Participants enjoy the meal together - a chance to comment on the tastes and textures created!
