In order to gain all the necessary items to travel to Australia, the teams must visit various countries around the world, completing exercises and collecting items on the way. Their ‘travel’ is controlled by a large and colourful map, showing all the possible destinations. The teams must move their ‘foot marker’ to the country they wish to visit on the World Map, before being taken there by their ‘Guide’.
Once at the country the Guide will outline the exercise associated with that country and on completing it successfully, in the time allocated, will allow the team to select items which will include Tickets, Passport, Insurance and so on as well as mode of transport from one country to another to help them get to Australia. |

Each country has several different themed exercises - for example, the teams may choose to visit the West Indies and take on the ‘Island Hopping’ challenge or Tokyo to attempt the “Traffic Jam” exercise.
The individual exercises are a brand new mixture of logical, cerebral and practical tasks, each requiring varying degrees of planning, communication and teamwork. The teams must try and visit as many countries as they can, and collect as many travel items as possible within the given time. | |
